Explore the Hidden Tradition of
Christian Spirituality

Welcome
In 1990 the ChristoSophia Community was formed by a small group of individuals who joined together to share our own spiritual journeys within the framework of Christian symbolism and practice. Since that time we have found that the opportunity to share experiences and information with other seekers on the inner Path of ChristoSophia has been immensely valuable. This website grew out of our dedication to ChristoSophia and the belief that others may also benefit from the experiences of our community. A major purpose of this Website is to share information, resources and experiences with others who are traveling – knowingly or unknowingly – on the Path of ChristoSophia. The Path of ChristoSophia follows the way of ancient Christian traditions that have been rediscovered in our contemporary age through the study of the "lost" gospels of the Gnostics. The essential element of the Path of ChristoSophia is the union of the Divine Feminine with the Divine Masculine. The earliest Christian communities honored Sophia as the feminine aspect of God and recognized her presence within the figure of Jesus Christ. The ChristoSophia Community affirms this hidden tradition by exploring the inner mysteries of the Christian faith such as the important role of Mary Magdalene, the sacred symbolism of the Holy Grail, and the significance of the mysterious figure of the "Green Man."
On this website we share the results of our ongoing search for the hidden mysteries of Christian spirituality. We also provide examples of services, rituals, prayers, symbols, and other resources that our community has used. If you would like to learn about ChristoSophia in more depth, we have published a book Walking the Path of ChristoSophia: Exploring the Hidden Tradition in Christian Spirituality. This book provides a wealth of background information about esoteric Christianity as well as practical applications of Christian spirituality for daily living. For a synopsis of the book, reader reviews, and ordering information, go to our Publications page by clicking here .

We welcome your comments, and would especially appreciate hearing about your own experiences walking on the bypaths of Christian spirituality. You may contact us at: christosophia4@gmail.com.
